Red Mosquito is a fan-made Pearl Jam concert companion app. We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about our data practices.
The app does not require user accounts, registration, or login. If you choose to enable live-show notifications, we store an anonymous installation ID, an Expo push token, your device platform, app version, notification permission status, and your live-alert preference. We do not use this information to identify you, advertise to you, or track you across apps or websites.
Concert attendance records (shows you mark as "My Show") are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
The app fetches concert data (setlists, venues, songs, album information) from our backend database. If you enable live alerts, it also sends the anonymous notification registration described above to our backend. You can turn live alerts off in the app at any time.
The app does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or cross-app tracking. We use Supabase to host app data and notification registrations, and Expo plus the Apple and Google notification services to deliver optional alerts. These service providers process notification registration data only to operate Red Mosquito's live-alert feature.
Disabled notification registrations may be retained to honor the disabled preference. Invalid push tokens are disabled when the delivery service reports them. You may request deletion of a notification registration by contacting us at the address below.
The app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app contains no user-generated content, social features, or in-app purchases.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
